About Villa Sandi

Nestled in the green hills of the Italian province of Treviso lies the magnificent Villa Sandi. Built in 1622 in the Palladian architectural style, a spirit that values the good, stylish life has always prevailed here. This high standard is also met in their wine production. The Glera grapes come from exclusive vineyard sites, and Villa Sandi is the only company to perfect the single fermentation method across its entire production to obtain even fresher quality Proseccos. This is revealed in multi-award-winning, high-quality products that are appreciated by enthusiasts in 106 countries worldwide.

The Region

Veneto, with its tourist hotspot Venice, is one of Italy's most popular wine regions – and one of the three largest in the country. Geographically, Veneto is extremely diverse: one-third is covered by mountain ranges, while the region also features extensive rice fields in the central plains and a large coastal strip. Consequently, the wines from Veneto are equally varied. Stony and calcareous soil, covered with red and brown earth, offers good growing conditions for the vines, while the Alps, whose foothills border the vast area in the north, protect the region from harsher northern European weather and ensure a balanced climate. Red grape varieties are mainly grown in the warmer plains on the Adriatic coast; excellent white wines come from the cooler zones, the most famous of which is undoubtedly Prosecco.
