It is thanks to the efforts of the Walsh couple that the Irishman Single Malt Whiskey exists with its clearly noticeable Bourbon and Sherry influences.

The family-run Walsh Whiskey Distillery is located on an estate called Royal Oak in Ireland. Surrounded by a fertile mosaic of cultivated fields and lush green meadows, Irishman Whiskey has been produced here since 2007. Triple distilled and stored in both Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, the whiskey follows a more typical production approach. The scent is fruity with a hint of vanilla, the taste reveals notes of crunchy muesli, roasted almonds, honey, cookies, apricots and vanilla. Of course, the oak facets due to the wood are also present. All in all, the influences of the perennial interaction with the bourbon and sherry barrels shine through perfectly.
