Le Tribute Mezcal is a collaboration between the MG Destileria in Spain and the Bosscal Company in Mexico. It is fermented from Cenizo agaves. Due to the traditional production methods, it has a sweet-smoky aroma, which also continues in the taste.

The MG distillery was founded as early as 1835 in Vilanova, a small fishing village near Barcelona, and is now run by the Giro family in its fifth generation. In 1940, the distillery launched the MG Gin, which is still one of the best selling gins in Spain. 2007 was followed by the Gin Mare. A little later, the third gin was Le Tribute Gin, which is called "yet dry enough". But now MG Destileria has teamed up with the Bosscal Company in Durango, Mexico to produce the Le Tribute Mezcal. The Bosscal team has been producing its Mezcals Artisanales for more than four generations, using traditional manufacturing techniques. Of the wild Cenizo agaves, only the hearts are used so that the pressed juice has a higher sugar content. Roasted over oak, ground with a wheel made of volcanic rock and even the transport of agave hearts with donkeys - here you will find the original processes of mezcal production, which have been modernized by so many other Destilerias meanwhile.
