LA MAUNY XO Rhum Agricole 70cl / 42% Martinique

The Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Martinique, an island of an excellent rum comes heard. The distillery La Mauny can fall back on over 250 years of experience in rum production. Established in 1749, the distillery is located in the southern part of the Caribbean island of Martinique and is known worldwide for its excellent Rhum Agricole.

The La Mauny Vieux XO is made from fresh sugar cane and distilled in a complex process. After distillation rests and matures the rum for at least six years in selected oak barrels that previously includes cognac and imported from France. This storage gives the rum its special flavor.

The symbol of Rhum La Mauny of which adorns all labels, is "la tête marée", a Creole woman with traditional headgear in colorful cloths, called "Madras". It stands for the femininity, softness, sensuality and happiness.

Reddish amber in color. Hints of dried fruit and subtle spice notes. Powerful on the palate and aromatic with notes of pastry, ginger, fruit and tobacco. Long aftertaste, rich in spicy aromas.
