Matured in double burned barrels for an even more intense taste. Black Barrel is a triple distilled blend that combines full-bodied pot still and grain whiskeys and comes from storage in sherry and bourbon barrels. What makes him special? He is the only whiskey in our range, whose bourbon barrels were burned out twice. It is an elaborate process, but we find that every drop is worth the effort.

Aroma: a colorful barrel of flavors: butter caramel and creamy toffee confectionery, thanks to Grain Whiskey, the peppery nuances of pot still whiskey and juicy notes of ripe nectarines, apricots and apples that testify to the influence of sherry casks.

Taste: Grain Whiskey, matured in vigorously burnt-out bourbon barrels, produces more pronounced spice nuances, nutty notes and sweet vanilla, while the sherry-cased Pot Still Whiskey stirs it up with fruity notes.

Reverberation: A reverberation that more fully expresses all the components of Jameson Original. Soft and mild with an intense, full-bodied finish.
