Freshly harvested Pears Quinces homegrown right behind the distillery, our Saar Dry Gin and an infusion of 2011 Cabinet noise form our regional tribute to the British Sloe Gin: Ferdinand's Saar Quince Gin.
Master Distiller Andreas Vallendar combines selectively hand-picked Riesling grapes of the winery Zilliken and more than 30 finely tuned Botanicals from the vineyards and home-grown. In our Quince Gin the 2011 noise Cabinet is infused, which was in 2013 honored by GaultMillau with 92 points and as the best wine cabinet of the year. The Royal Prussian forester Ferdinand Geltz is not only named after our Gin, steeped in history but also a co-founder of the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer.
This golden gin of the Saar is the symbol of the perfect balance between sweetness, acidity and bitterness.
