Campari has long been a classic among herbal liqueurs. It has been produced for over 150 years according to the unchanged, top-secret original recipe.

The success story of Campari began in 1860 by the eponymous inventor Gaspare Campari in the Italian town of Novara. Today he is one of the most famous spirits brands worldwide. For over 150 years, Campari Bitter has been made from aromatic herbs, plants and fruits using the original secret recipe. No one knows exactly how many ingredients he is made of. He originally received his red color from a colourant derived from Cochenilleschildläusen, since 2006, however, is based on a natural vegetable dye, which is obtained from the juice of prickly pear cacti. Normally it is served with prosecco, mineral water or lemon juice.
