Bodegas Borsao Campo de Borja D.O. Tres Picos 2022 Red Wine – A brilliantly ruby-red wine with powerful blackberry aromas, complemented by redcurrant, elderberry and plum, along with wonderful vanilla spice and a hint of dried fruit. On the palate, it is wonderfully soft, with gentle tannins and a light touch of sweetness at the start. The intense fruit is supported by a full, very soft, harmonious structure, with a long and lingering finish.

The Region

The northeastern Spanish region of Aragon encompasses the wide Ebro Valley and is dominated to the north by the Pyrenees, which supply the dry valley with water. Thanks to this location, the wines here have great potential. Small, outstanding wineries with a strong focus on quality make Aragon, with its four DO regions—Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja, and Somontano—increasingly attractive to wine lovers. Red Garnacha and Tempranillo are the main varieties grown here.
