The brewery Blue Moon was founded in 1995 in Denver Colorado USA. The idea for this beer got the brewer Keith during his study in Belgium. He enjoyed the many Belgian Witbiere. The Blue Moon is its interpretation with only the best ingredients and the highest quality. For example, he exchanged the orange orange peel for the traditional sour orange peel of Curacao Orange to give it a fine sweetness. He also added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy beer that pampers the palate. The beer has a fine spiciness, with a perfect combination of orange peel and coriander. It brings out the fine flavors especially well when served with an orange slice in the glass.
