Black Tomato Gin is born in the authentic port of Bruinisse, a small fishing village with a long tradition of fishing mussels. The distillery stands in front of the clear waters of the Oosterschelde, which is the largest national park in the Netherlands.
After dozens of test and tasting sessions our master burner Meindert Kampen came out with the best, each handmade, distilled Black Tomato Gin.
Beside the secret botanicals, we use some small drops of fresh salt, oosterschelde water and homemade large, black tomatoes. Our distillery is one of the rare distillers in the Netherlands with its own traditional malt soil, stone floor for the sprouting of dried malt grains.
