Old acquaintance in a new design! The Benromach "10 Years old" Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey has strong sherry notes, fruit and nut chocolate and delicate spicy notes, cinnamon. Fresh green apples, with a slightly malty biscuit note, slight peat smoke in the background. On the palate, fine aromas of forest fruits, raspberries and blackberries, sherry, gentle malt notes, with greater peat influence. The Benromach 10 Years Old is first stored in a mix of 80% bourbon and 20% sherry barrels before being given the final touch in European Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a beautifully balanced whiskey with intense golden color and a long finish.
